• Educational Qualification & Eligibility for Junior Engineer (USFD) -Essential: 1) Should have valid competency for USFD testing of Rails and welds issued by RDSO minimum for a period of one year from the date of notification. 2) Minimum Qualification: i) Graduate in Science with Physics from a university or Institute recognized by UGC/Central or State Govt/ Technical Education Board or International Institute /University.
• OR ii) 3 years regular Diploma in Engineering in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electronics / Electrical/Metallurgy/Chemical from a university or institution recognized by Central/State Govt, Technical education Board or International institute or University.
• OR iii) MSC in Chemistry provided that Physics was one of the subject at ISC/Intermediate/ 10+2 Level.
• OR iv) BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Metallurgical/Chemical /IT/ Computer Science or Engineering from a University or Institute recognized by Central/State Govt, Technical education Board or International institute or University.
• Age limit: Maximum age limit 62 years as on 13-9-2023.
• Selection Process: The selection process will comprise of Qualification, experience, Document Verification and Medical Examination. Eligible suitable applicants will be short listed on the basis of eligibility and experience, if required as per vacancy notice.
