Sports Quota Eligibility Criteria (Educational Qualification, Age limit, Relaxation in Upper Age limit, Experience)
  • Educational Qualification for Pay Level 1 (GP 1,800) Posts – 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
  • Educational Qualification for Pay Level 2/3 (GP 1,900/2000) Posts:- Passed 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent examination. Education Qualification must be from a Govt. Recognized Board/Council/ Institution.
  • Minimum Sports Norms / achievement eligibility for recruitment. : Visit official notification
  • Age limit: Minimum age 18 years and maximum age 25 years as on 01-January-2024. No relaxation in upper or lower age limit will be permissible in this recruitment.
  • Pay Scale: Candidates will get pay scale as per posts level-wise. For Level4- Rs. 25500-81100/ Level5- Rs. 29200-92300 and Level 2- Rs. 19900-63200/ Level 3- Rs. 21700-69100.
  • Selection Process: The recruitment Selection will be based on trials & assessment of sports achievements, Educational Qualification and final merit list.

Applications must be sent through ordinary post addressed to Senior Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Northeast Frontier Railway HQ, Maligaon, Guwahati – 781 011 (Assam) OR dropped physically in the APPLICATION DROP BOX in the Recruitment Section in the Office of Pr. Chief Personnel Officer, NF Railway HQ, Maligaon, Guwahati (Assam)-781011 on or before 23.10.2023. (For candidates residing in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti Districts, Pangi Sub-Division in Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, and Lakshadweep the last date is 03.11.2023 by post only). The envelope should be superscribed “RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA:: EVENT NAME – ………………………… , POSITION…………………….GP Rs………………”.
Application Fees For UR: – Rs 500
For SC/ST, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes – Rs. 250
Fee submission offline : The IPO should be drawn in favour of PFA /NF Railway, and payable at Maligaon Post Office, Guwahati – 781011 only. Candidates must write their names & full address in the IPO.
