As RRC Western Railway department inviting interested candidates for appointment of sports persons against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) in various pay levels on Western Railway for the year 2023-24. Sports Quota Eligibility Criteria (Educational Qualification, Age limit, Relaxation in Upper Age limit, Experience)
  • Educational Qualification for Pay Level 1 (GP 1,800) Posts – Passed 10th or its equivalent examination. OR ITI OR Equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT Educational Qualification must be from a Recognized Institution
  • Educational Qualification for Pay Level 2/3 (GP 1,900/2000) Posts:- Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination. Educational Qualification must be from a Recognized Institution. OR Passed Matriculation from recognized Board plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship. OR 1 Passed Matriculation from recognized Board plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.
  • Educational Qualification for Pay Level 4 (GP 2,400) Posts:-Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • Educational Qualification for Pay Level 5 (GP 2,800) Posts:- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • Minimum Sports Norms / achievement eligibility for recruitment. : Visit official notification
  • Age limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2024. Candidates born between 01/01/1999 and 01/01/2006 (both days inclusive) should only apply.
  • Pay Scale: Candidates will get pay scale as per posts level-wise. For Level4- Rs. 25500-81100/ Level5- Rs. 29200-92300 and Level 2- Rs. 19900-63200/ Level 3- Rs. 21700-69100.
  • Selection Process: All eligible candidates will be called for trial and after trial, only the FIT candidates (securing 25 or more, out of 40 marks for Game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observations during trial) shall be assessed for next stage of recruitment. Candidates declared NOT FIT by the Trial Committee will not be assessed further by the Recruitment Committee.
